Yahoo Application State Plugin is installed with Yahoo! Messenger to tell Yahoo! web pages whether you have Yahoo Messenger installed or not, which version you have installed and you are logged in or not. According to Yahoo! Messenger information disclosure , only yahoo.com and their other services have access to this plugin.

In 2008-09 people reported that Firefox crashes when using Yahoo Mail. Yahoo Application State Plugin was reported and banned from add-on directory at Firefox. Yahoo updated the plugin and the problem was solved.

To update Firefox plugin of RealPlayer, users need to update RealPlayer desktop software. There is no way to update plugin directly as it is associated with desktop application.

Microsoft® DRM plugin is included in Windows versions up to XP Home/Pro, in Windows Media Player directory. It is used when you purchase and download protected music. If you try to delete it, Windows will restore automatically.

This plugin does not harm your computer. There is no actual use of this plugin and users cant update it manually. Firefox may show this plugin as outdated or older version, but no new version of this plugin can be updated.

How to remove Microsoft® DRM Plugin?

This works if you have installed your Windows on C: Drive, if not change it to correct drive.

1. Copy text below and save it to removedrm.cmd and save it to C: directory.del C:\Windows\System32\dllcache\npdrmv2.dll
del C:\Windows\System32\dllcache\npwmsdrm.dll
del "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\npdrmv2.dll"
del "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\npwmsdrm.dll"
2. Start PC in safe mode. ( Restart and press F8)
3. Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
4. Go to root ‘C:\’ if you are not already. Press ‘cd\’ without quotes to go to the root.
5. Type the filename we created removedrm.cmd and press enter
6. Exit safe mode and start your PC in normal mode, DRM plugins are gone.

Microsoft Office 2013 is 15th version of Microsoft Office productivity suite for Windows. MS Office 2013 is suitable for IA-32 and x64 systems. Development of this version started in 2010 and it was released to manufacturing on October 11, 2012. It requires Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 or later version of Microsoft Windows.

Office 2013 includes extended file format support, user interface updates, and support for touch. Windows RT devices are bundled a version of Office 2013.
